覃奋为了挣结婚的彩礼钱并逃避感情不和的父亲，选择外出务工，却未料到被人骗进了传销组织。性格使然，覃奋向家人和女友隐瞒自己的遭遇并只身对抗残暴。可父亲还是根据蛛丝马迹发现了他的情况，想办法施救却被人利用，不得已也外出务工。一段时间后，覃奋施计得以逃出窝点。 回到家的覃奋从朋友们那里听说了女友“背叛”自己的传言。尽管女友已怀了自己的孩子，他依然非常难受。不久后父亲在从外地回家途中意外身亡。紧接着，覃奋明白了父亲之前外出务工挣钱的原因，发现了家里被骗的真相。看着父亲遗留下来的烟斗，覃奋陷入梦境并得以借此与其和解之后，携手兄弟前去找骗子报仇。而女友，则在路灯下等待着覃奋的赴约。。One day, thinking that it will make your wife and friends smile, you shave off the moustache that you have had for the last ten years. Viewers who like their conclusions tidy may rebel, but those who relish outstanding performances in the service of an intriguing idea will be entertained.
