With all of technology taken away from the the young adults to slow down any rescue team...。里昂是一个十岁的男孩，有着无数个为什么和丰富的想象力。他的爸爸和妈妈经常吵架。他的邻居十分吵闹，喜欢去海边度夏天。同学里有一个他非常讨厌的小女孩丽雅，她关于任何事情的看法总是对的。在1968年的那个夏天，里昂的妈妈决定离开他们去希腊开始新的生活，为了排解伤痛，里昂去做了很多事情——破坏邻居家的房子、成为一个有经验的撒谎者，甚至与丽雅相爱。最终，两人在一起战胜了成长的痛苦。。
