故事从灾难发生后一个月左右开始。不同于国外求生的方式，国内封闭式公寓、生活小区的脱险成了主人公吉伦、迦诺、马克共同的难题。食物与饮水的消耗的导致了三人必须尽快冲出丧尸的围困。艰难的逃生使得迦诺难以持续，而对面楼宇独自逃生的马克离双方唯一求生的汽车近在咫尺。主人公吉伦必须保证已经深陷危险的同伴们至少有一个团结的方式，可信任的建立在这样的世界中是否可以如同往日?整个世界的灾难变化，人类避难所如何建立，可能面对庞大数量的丧尸群，求生与生存的关系，变得更加模糊不清。。Back Stage is a 1919 comedy, one of the last films that Buster Keaton would appear with Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle before they went their separate ways, Keaton would get his own studio, and Arbuckle got into feature length films.
