这是一部独立的新派黑色电影。电影带领观众深入常人不熟悉的街区，通过拉丁裔酒店火灾事件的探寻，发掘街区中掩藏的腐败与堕落，同时揭露中产阶级与贫困群体的彷徨。。姚小沫与姐姐姚灵因遗传，天生拥有在梦中控制脑波信号的能力。因姐姐从小跟随父母在OS组织的研究所做梦境实验，而且天赋异禀。谁知OS组织却想把她们培养成杀手，父母为掩护姐妹逃跑遇害，姐姐带着几个月大的姚小沫在父母同事罗文博士的帮助下逃脱并隐姓埋名，甚至对妹妹小沫也隐瞒了真相。 20年后，随着姚小沫突然不断出现噩梦，小沫发现身边的同学一个个在梦中被杀后却在现实中死亡，而且梦中的无脸男还在不断“入侵”他们的梦。为了阻止无脸男行凶，为了保护自己的男友和闺蜜，小沫决定冒险进入梦境去寻找真凶。姐姐姚灵担心是OS组织的杀手找上门，一直暗中保护与指导着姚小沫，谁知一个巨大的阴谋正向她们接近。。The film begins with the title Chorokbam filling the screen, which is amazing to see.
