凌霄和烈无双曾是江湖上一对令人艳羡的侠侣，他们与孟保元相识于微时，凌霄与孟保元惺惺相惜，成为结拜兄弟，孟保元心有雄图大志，希望凌霄和烈无双能够辅佐自己登上皇位，建一个太平盛世。。抗日战争时期，北方农村有一个名叫小牛的少年，在党的领导下，参加对敌斗争。有一次，八路军交通员马叔叔送情报给游击队，路上遇到了鬼子和伪军。小牛机智地引开了敌人，使马叔叔脱了险。游击队根据马叔叔送来的情报，定好了夺取敌人武器的计划。小牛接受了游击队交给他给敌人当“向导”的任务，巧妙地把敌人引入了芦荡深处游击队的伏击圈，配合游击队缴获了鬼子的一大批武器，全歼了敌人。。In this bitingly satirical film Peter Slovan, a continuous source of trouble for the film functionaries of the socialist Slovakia, tackles an evergreen topic – the corruptive effects of power. Barnabáš Kos, a triangle player at a symphonic orchestra, is suddenly promoted to serve as the head of the said institution, even though both he and his superiors deem him completely unfit for the task. Encouraged in equal parts by this unexpected recognition and the servile praise of his colleagues, Kos’s modesty starts to gradually vanish. The erstwhile bashful and aloof percussionist quickly becomes aware of the advantages of his new office, and begins to realise his increasingly ludicrous artistic ambitions. Ultimately, the submissive marionette turns into a source of public humiliation, and his astonishing career finds an abrupt end. Orchestra serves here as a microcosm that grotesquely reflects the absurd and tragicomic mechanisms of the paranoid apparatus of power.
