本片根据天下霸唱小说《火神》改编，故事发生在民国年间九河下梢、鱼龙混杂的九河城，神偷钱不二意外获得警探身份，决心去救被捕在侦探社中的师弟侠盗张立三，却在上任之初就遇到了棘手的石化悬案。一名包工头在拆毁了火神庙后遭到“诅咒”，在众目睽睽之下成为一尊石像。随后火神的“诅咒”更是在全城蔓延，神偷钱不二、侠盗张立三、苏叶、小神婆半夏被迫卷入其中，开始寻找真相，并意外发现了魔古道筹划已久的惊天阴谋......。阿龙为了查父之死因，来到空屋找刚出狱的马沙，向其挑战，却败在马沙手里……。Takashi and Yuriko are like any other young couple.
