该剧以当代内蒙古的某一小镇为背景，描绘了生活在该镇里的形形色色的普通人物……。该纪录片聚焦那些致力于用行动改变乡村的人。五位主人公，带着各自的理想，去往乡村或者返回故乡。他们借助教育、农业、旅游、建筑、艺术等不同的手段，期望能够推动乡村的点滴改变。他们的行动也指向一个命题——城市化背景下，乡村的走向有怎样的可能性？摄制组用一年多的时间，观察式地记录了主人公们的努力、困境和突围，同时也用在地村民的视角反观这些“介入者们”，描绘这些“在乡村”的人们生活中的迷茫与希望，以及他们心目中理想乡村的模样。。The latest VBW in-house production I AM FROM AUSTRIA has evolved to a brilliant public success since the premiere last September at the Raimund Theater.
