故事描述David Collier（Lee Ingleby）生活在恶梦中。他被指控谋杀了妻子Tara，已经在监狱里关了7年。他失去了自己珍爱的一切：妻子，两个孩子，还有原本属于自己的房子。他一直坚称自己是无辜的，但他仍然无法逃避可能一辈子蹲监狱的命运。Tara的家人朋友全都鄙视他，只有他的兄弟Phil（Daniel Ryan）肯为他说话。Phil放弃了自己的事业和生活，发誓要不惜一切代价证明David的清白。 Tara的妹妹Alice（Hemione Norris）和丈夫Rob（Adrian Rowlins）则坚信David有罪，他们没有子女，David和Tara的孩子现在由他们抚养。他们继承了David的财产，享受着舒适的生活，成了别人眼中的成功家庭。当Tara还活着时，一切都不是这样。Alice当然不愿相信David是无罪的，因此当David可能...。The film begins with the title Chorokbam filling the screen, which is amazing to see.
