《大丑》改编于吴克敬同名中篇小说。 故事发生在陕西地区一个叫陈仓的城市，随着时代文化体制改革政策。陈仓市的诸秦腔集团面临整会改制，某剧团全体演职人员也面临着留的抉择和考验。该团的“台柱子”丑角舔大丑和老婆尤选荣也在此抉择之中。 团长也是邸大丑的师兄王开锁，找来大丑告诉他继续留在剧团的消息。并征求他对其他人选的推荐意见。出乎师兄的意料，大丑并没有念私推荐自己的老婆，依然推荐了在当地已小有名气的自己的徒弟杭小唱。。Albert who lives in the small Danish provincial town Kalleby.
