Plebs follows three desperate young men from the suburbs...。本片是同一故事第三度重拍的版本。此片将好莱坞的背景改成今日的摇滚乐坛，男主角原是着名的摇滚乐歌手，而女主角则在小型夜总会卖艺。影片中有不少热门插曲，部分片段的镜头和表演都不俗，但整体则显得有点矫揉造作，角色欠缺真正的生命感，不过娱乐性还是维持相当水准。本片曾获奥斯卡最佳电影插曲金像奖。。刘有福、耗子、金毛三位法盲农民工因被外出筹措资金的老板雷金虎拖欠工资，引起误会，后绑架雷金虎之子小虎，从而引发的一系列令人啼笑皆非却又令人深思的都市温情喜剧故事。。
